The Morgan Silver Dollar Story!

The Morgan Silver Dollar began its mintage in 1878 upto 1904. The mintage was ceased in 1904 due to the scarcity of silver, and many silver coins were melted to aid the economic condition during the World War I.

After silver was regained, the US government decided to produce the Morgan Silver Dollar to celebrate its 100 year anniversary. Thus, the 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar was issued with a total mintage of 44,690,000 coin from the Philadelphia mint.
