The reverse side bears the heraldic eagle in the center as it clenches onto arrows and an olive branch. With its outstretched wings reaching the edge, the eagle breaks the inscription “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”. Other inscriptions include “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the US motto, and “ONE DOLLAR”, the face value.
