The display includes the inscriptions of “In God we trust”, the motto of the US, and “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ONE DOLLAR” for the country of issue and face value.

Why are the 1921 Morgan Dollars so valuable?

One of the biggest reasons for the popularity of the 1921 Morgan Dollar is that it was the last year that silver coins were minted until 1935. These coins are also important because they were released during the great economic turmoil in the US. Furthermore, the Gold Reserve Act of 1933 caused many people to convert their money into silver, contributing to the popularity of the 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar.
