The reverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar features the heraldic eagle in the center holding a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons, which represent peace and war. The portrayal also includes the motto of the US, “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the inscriptions of the country of issue and face value, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ONE DOLLAR.” The mint mark is not depicted on the reverse, meaning it was minted in the Philadelphia facility.
