The eagle has its wings outstretched as it holds a bunch of arrows and an olive branch in its talons, representing the opposites, peace and war. The portrayal is surrounded by the inscriptions of, “IN GOD WE TRUST” on a ribbon, country of issue, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and the face value, “TEN D”.
